  • Keynote Speaker: E. Lee Rosenthal, PhD, MS, MPH
    Dr. E. Lee Rosenthal has worked nationally as an advocate for the CHW field through CHW program research and field development efforts. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Promotion at the University of Texas at El Paso. Dr. Rosenthal was the Study Director of the 1998 National Community Health Advisory Study and is now the Project Co-Director of Community Health Work National Education Collaborative (CHW-NEC).
  • Guest Speaker: Commissioner John Auerbach
    Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, and former executive director of the Boston Public Health Commission, Commissioner Auerbach, once a CHW, is well-known for his two decades of public health work in both state and local government as well as in health center and hospital settings.
  • 2007 Award Recipients:
