Urge the Legislature to Reverse Romney's
Cuts
| | |
On Friday, Governor Romney used his
emergency powers to cut $425 million from the state's
Fiscal Year 2007 budget.
Romney
slashed $5,144,292 in funding for vital Department
of Public Health programs. Among the
programs hardest hit are AIDS Treatment and Prevention
($735,000), Universal Immunizations ($428,176), Hospital
Operations ($1,000,000), and School Health Services
($300,000).

cuts.
The legislature can and should take
immediate action to maintain the funding
of these programs.
Please

Senate President Travaglini and House Speaker DiMasi in
support of reversing Romney's harmful
cuts.
Thank you.
